Our History:
We were formed by members of Holy Trinity Church in 1982. In recent years, whilst we are still strongly connected to the church, we have had an open membership policy for anyone aged 15+. Currently we have over 50 members aged between 15 and 80+.
Over the years we have put on numerous pantomimes, reviews and religious musicals. We have also entertained at residential homes and Horsham hospital. We go carol singing every year to raise money for charity.
We aim to:
♦ provide fellowship and support for our members
♦ to raise as much money as possible for charity and to make donations to Holy Trinity church
♦ to develop the talents of all members so that everyone is involved in a way that suits them
♦ to provide entertainment for the local community
♦ to provide an easy link to the church for our members and audiences.
Membership:
No membership fee, no auditions: membership is open to all. We ask members to contribute 50p a week for their refreshments and occasionally we charge a small show fee to cover the costs of scores etc.
We don't hold formal auditions.
When do we meet?:
Monday evenings in Holy Trinity Church hall, from 8pm to 10pm. We have an extra Wednesday rehearsal during show week.
When do we perform?:
A pantomime during the last weekend in January. We do a religious musical or review at the end of June.
